Nurse Educator - Patient Transport Service

1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and relevant clinical education post registration qualifications.
2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience as a Nurse Educator in contemporary nursing practice, including knowledge and understanding of appropriate equipment, legislation, policies and procedures, best practice adult education and competency based teaching models.
3. Demonstrated experience developing capability of nursing staff including mentoring, inducting and precepting staff, identifying skill gaps and developing individual tailored programs , and supporting continuing professional development
4. Proven capacity to contribute to and implement quality improvement initiatives in accordance with industry best practice in nursing education
5. Proven engagement, collaboration and influencing skills with the capability to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders
6. Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a customer service focussed environment to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and stakeholders.
7. Capacity and willingness, including current NSW driver’s license, to drive and travel to business and service locations throughout NSW, which may include regional / remote areas.
