Laundry Assistant - PM Shift

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant - PM shift to work in our Linen Warehouse to conduct the following tasks and duties, linen sorting, ironing, folding, packing, loading/unloading of washers, dryers, cleaning of laundry machinery, all to a high standard. You will also contribute to a positive and constructive team culture with the ability to work independently and follow instructions flexibly to adjusting work requirements.

This is a Permanent Part Time graded as a Hospital Assistant Grade 2 with a salary starting from $25.07 per hour. Salary packaging benefits available providing additional benefits of up to $2,198.

  • Be able to perform physical-related tasks with the understanding of manual handling and OH&S principles
  • Great communication skills
  • Be a supportive team player
  • Ideally, but not essential, you will also have experience in general laundry with the operations of machinery or in a production/manufacturing industry.
