What you'll be doing

The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to process accounts payable invoices using the Oracle Accounts Payable system, create invoice batches, reconcile supplier's statements and maintaining vendor details and relevant reports, with a strong focus on customer service in accordance with service Partnership Agreements, HealthShare policies and all relevant legislative, statutory, government and customer requirements.

Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable related tasks in a large complex organisation, including with invoice scanning, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn these skills
  • Strong data entry skills and experience with spreadsheet, database and word processing applications.
  • Extensive experience with computer based Accounts payable systems, i.e. Oracle, SAP or similar and an understanding of GST, FBT, Tax implications and Procurement fundamentals in relation to Accounts Payable activities, or demonstrated ability to develop these skills quickly
  • Sound interpersonal, oral & written communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team or independently.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to the provision of high level quality and customer focused services.
