Selection Criteria
-
Four year degree in Social Work or Psychology. Eligibility for membership of AASW or registration as a psychologist. Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience as a social worker or psychologist.

Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge or sexual assault theory and practice, crisis intervention and a high level of contemporary intervention skills appropriate for sexual assault victims together with a commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence based practice.

Understanding of intergenerational trauma, child sexual abuse and the principles of family focussed intervention in the context of the legal and policy framework governing child protection in NSW.

Two years minimum experience in providing individual clinical supervision.

Demonstrated ability to clinically lead a small therapeutic team, which is supported by highly refined clinical skills.

Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering and evaluating service delivery, program development activities and professional education.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, prioritise and manage a caseload.

Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence and ability to travel as part of the role.
