To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Psychologists, OR Tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers with a minimum of 2 year experience. Classifications for appointment are:
- Psychologist Year 3 and above
- Registered Nurse 3rd Year and above
- Social Worker Lvl 1, year 3 and above
- Welfare Officer Lvl 1, year 3 and above
- Applied understanding of the principles of person-centred care, trauma-informed care and recovery, as well as in working with Aboriginal people in a holistic, collaborative and respectful way.
- A willingness to work shift work including afterhours and weekends as required.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of evidence based treatment techniques and assessment to people experiencing distress in a community setting
- Excellent applied communication skills in a wide range of settings including verbal and written, and competence in computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
