- Registered nurse registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency
- Demonstrated clinical knowledge and experience in delivery of evidence based practice within pre admission or surgical ward setting.
- Interview/communication skills, nursing assessment skills, critical thinking/problem solving skills and teaching/counselling skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, sound computer literacy and experience with electronic medical record.
- Ability to identify potential problems and communicate those to the perioperative team.
- Ability to work in a self directed environment with little supervision.
- Ability to prioritise tasks.
