Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary health related qualifications in level 3 or level 2 year 3/4 working towards level 3 Exercise Physiologist or Physiotherapist and registered to practice in Australia through regulatory board.
  2. Demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning, ability to apply professional judgement and Evidence Based Practice principles when performing clinical interventions within the scope of practice of the profession.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge in musculoskeletal disorders and a well-developed understanding of the concepts of chronic care and its application with people and communities
  4. Strong demonstrated understanding of primary healthcare and stakeholder relationship management to build stakeholder relationships
  5. Demonstrated knowledge in project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation (including time management and administrative demands).
  6. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication, consultation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with proven ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and/or relevant professional standards where applicable.
  8. Evidence of a current class C driver’s license to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving long distances within the Health District with overnight stays.
