Skills and Knowledge
- Tertiary health related qualifications in level 3 or level 2 year 3/4 working towards level 3 Exercise Physiotherapy or Physiotherapist and registered to practice in Australia through regulatory board
- A minimum of four years post-graduate experience in a broad range of clinical Exercise Physiology services including acute and community based.
- Demonstrated knowledge in musculoskeletal disorders and a well-developed understanding of the concepts of chronic care and its application with people and communities.
- Strong demonstrated understanding of primary healthcare and stakeholder relationship management to build stakeholder relationships.
- Demonstrated knowledge in project management, implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and oral, including interpersonal, negotiation and consultation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to the defined standards of ethical and professional conduct consistent with the current NSW Health Code of Conduct and/or relevant professional standards where applicable
- Evidence of a current class C driver’s license to travel for work purposes. This may involve driving long distances within the Health District.
