Selection Criteria

  1. Qualifications in Business Administration or a relevant field or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
  2. Experience in the use of electronic email systems, MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and databases, including data gathering and preparation of reports
  3. Sound and practical understanding of contemporary workforce and organisational management issues within the health sector.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of the various medical awards relevant to NSW Health.
  5. High level and demonstrated sound organisational, analytical and complex problem solving skills with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities, deliver quality outcomes and meet tight deadlines.
  6. Excellent negotiation, decision making and conflict resolution skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
  7. Excellent organisational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within a demand driven Unit.
  8. Highly developed problem-solving, coordination and organisational skills with sound judgment and initiative in the resolution of urgent issues and setting priorities.
