We have an exciting opportunity in the Oracle Health eMR team for a MPages Developer.

The MPages (Millennium Pages) Developer assumes technical responsibility for the development and maintenance of MPages in the Cerner Electronic Medical Record across NSW Health Local Health Districts. This program supports the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs. This development takes place in a large and complex/diverse service industry organisation.

What you will do 

As an integral member of the Oracle Health eMR team, you will:

  • Assume technical responsibility for all stages of the development and maintenance of responsive maintainable, robust and defect free code and components as part of the operational aspects of all MPages implementations supported and hosted by eHealth.
  • Utilise technical expertise to analyse user requirements and technical specifications to deliver code that meets the organisations business needs.
  • Provide expert technical, configuration and support for MPages, including coordinating and delivering the required support levels for complex and significant issues, problem resolution and change management in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Assume technical responsibility for the Design and Implementation of Performance Testing of MPages to ensure effective support.
  • Provide expert consultation and advice around key issues and modification requirements relating to the ongoing support, upgrades, installation and development of the MPages Cerner System and Support Service.
  • Provide plain language advice and support to users in use and implementation of the selected software and reports.
  • Develop appropriate documentation to support the MPages Support Model including but not restricted to Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management processes.

 

About you 

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant qualifications or equivalent.
  • Experience in change control management/version control processes and in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Extensive experience in Unit Testing and troubleshooting issues.
  • Knowledge of relational database design and its impact upon performance and demonstrated experience working with large and complex databases
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in the development of HTML5 and utilization of the following technologies, SQL or an SQL derivative (such as Cerner's CCL), JavaScript, CSS, XML and JSON. UNIX, Linux and Windows experience.
