About the Opportunity
As a Solution Architect of our Technology, Devices & Integration stream within SDPRIA, you will be responsible for developing enterprise technology solutions and mapping business requirements to system designs that align with NSW Health’s architectural standards.
This role offers the opportunity to shape integrated, future-ready technology systems supporting the Single Digital Patient Record (SDPR) program—one of the largest and most transformational digital health initiatives in Australia. - Collaborate with internal technical domains, vendors, and partners to ensure the delivery of cohesive, integrated solutions
- Develop fit-for-purpose enterprise solution architectures that meet business and non-functional requirements
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology deliverables, providing expert technical advice and assurance
- Contribute to a culture of innovation, quality and collaboration in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings extensive experience in designing and architecting large-scale, centralised digital health solutions in complex clinical service environments
- Has a strong understanding of healthcare interoperability and integration patterns, with hands-on knowledge of industry standards such as HL7 (V2 and CDA), FHIR and clinical terminologies
- Has demonstrated ability to translate clinical and business requirements into scalable, standards-compliant technical architectures aligned with enterprise objectives
- Possesses strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to navigate diverse clinical, technical, and operational priorities
- Holds relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience in IT or related fields
- Thrives in dynamic, collaborative and multi-disciplinary teams and is committed to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred digital healthcare solutions.
