About the Opportunity
The Willow medication management team - The SDPR, manages and configures the pharmacy and medication management module in the Epic application. Our team manages areas such as medication catalogue build, hospital medication lists and dispense logic, label and prescription generation, and prescribing and dispensing workflows.
Commencing in early 2026, the Senior Digital Health Analyst supports the design, configuration, and implementation of digital health solutions that enhance clinical workflows and improve patient outcomes across NSW Health. This role bridges clinical insight with digital innovation, ensuring technology meets the operational and care delivery needs of health professionals.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the transformation of clinical care delivery through innovative digital health initiatives. You’ll collaborate with clinicians, data analysts, and ICT specialists to design and configure digital tools—such as electronic medical records, data dashboards, and workflow optimisation systems - that improve patient safety, streamline operations, and enhance decision-making across NSW Health’s statewide digital ecosystem.
In this role, you will:
Design and deliver digital health solutions that support safe, effective, and efficient clinical care across NSW Health.
Translate complex clinical and technical information into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholder groups.
Lead and facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring collaborative input and alignment across clinical, operational, and digital teams.
Define and document business requirements and future-state workflows to inform the development and configuration of digital products.
Support quality assurance activities, including testing, issue resolution, and continuous improvement through lessons learned.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Holds tertiary qualifications in Health, Health Information Management, or a related discipline, or bring extensive experience in a public healthcare setting.
Has demonstrated experience in medication management, pharmacy workflows, health IT and clinical terminology/medication catalogue build.
Has proven success implementing digital health initiatives within clinical environments and a strong understanding of healthcare processes and models of care.
Is a skilled communicator able to translate technical details into meaningful language for clinicians and business stakeholders alike.
Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills, identifying risks, dependencies, and opportunities to improve digital health delivery.
Is collaborative and adaptable, working effectively within multidisciplinary project teams to deliver outcomes that improve patient care.
You will succeed in this role if you:
Enjoy working in an environment where no two days are the same.
Are motivated by tight deadlines and problem solving on the go.
Can juggle multiple priorities while staying calm and outcome focused.
Thrive when collaborating with others to deliver results in a fast moving space.
