What you will be doing

In this role you will be responsible for the development, implementation and reporting of research and evaluation projects to measure and monitor the performance of Cancer Screening and Prevention programs. This role will provide you the opportunity to work strategically with stakeholders and internal and external research and evaluation partners to contribute to excellence in cancer screening and prevention programs for the people of NSW.

Essential to this role will be your experience in the development and implementation of research and evaluation projects including design, use of qualitative and quantitative methodologies and reporting. You will have demonstrated advance understanding of statistical techniques for behavioural sciences including the use of statistical packages such as SPSS, as well as understanding of and experience with the development and implementation of research and evaluation projects including the evaluation of social marketing in public health.

  • Please outline the approach you would take to designing and conducting an evaluation of a social marketing campaign that primarily uses digital advertising. Describe the method you would take and any specific considerations to take into account for this type of evaluation.
