Essential requirements
  • Extensive and current/recent experience working as a radiation therapist or radiation oncology nurse in adult cancer services with relevant tertiary qualifications.
  • Knowledge and understanding of or interest in Radiation Oncology and its role in cancer pathways.
  • Extensive knowledge of contemporary cancer clinical practice.
  • High-level analytical, critical thinking, research and evaluation skills.
  • Demonstrated high-level engagement skills with a wide cross-section of stakeholders. 
  • Demonstrated effective communication including verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated aptitude with and ability to learn new technologies (e.g. MS Teams, content management systems).
 
If successful for interview candidates must provide original copies of essential qualifications to be sighted by the panel, and one copy to provide to panel.
 
In line with the current COVID-19 restrictions in place in Sydney, the interview will be conducted virtually.
