Selection Criteria 

  1. Relevant tertiary clinical qualifications or equivalent, demonstrated understanding of implementation methodologies and demonstrated successful experience in managing and implementing change. 
  2. Demonstrated understanding of complex healthcare service provision with proven skills in the use and application of clinical data to analyse issues, problem solve, formulate new approaches, implement comprehensive change programs and develop improvement strategies. 
  3. Strong collaboration and negotiation skills with the capability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence and achieve optimal outcomes. 
  4. Experience in managing and delivering medium to large and/or complex clinical projects in a large and complex service industry organisation, including relevant clinical and project management experience.
  5. Superior analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information, prepare written strategies, plans and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions. 
  6. Superior skills in data analysis and in communicating qualitative and quantitative information to varying audiences using a range of analysis, visualisation and presentation tools. 
  7. Excellent organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise competing demands and achieve results within tight timeframes. 
  8. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment as well as independently.

Things to consider when submitting application:

COVID-19 Vaccination Compliancy

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.  New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
