CEC - Senior Manager, Governance & Assurance

Selection Criteria:

1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and extensive relevant equivalent experience in a large complex organisation (or a combination of study and work experience) with a proven track record of managing large-scale quality and safety improvement strategies, priorities and programs.
2. Demonstrated superior leadership skills, including knowledge and experience in strategic decision making and development of strategic and operational business plans.
3. Expert knowledge of current Ministry of Health and Commonwealth requirements in relation to patient safety statutory reporting and accreditation, with proven ability to provide authoritative strategic advice.
4. Demonstrated high-level understanding of the delivery of care within the NSW health system and expert knowledge of current and emerging areas of clinical quality and patient safety.
5. Proven experience in leading, developing and managing complex change at a large scale or state-wide level.
6. Excellent interpersonal, communication, consultation and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage relationships both within and external to the organisation.
7. Demonstrated experience developing and managing a high performance team and fostering a collegial, professional work environment.
8. Demonstrated problem solving skills for managing conflicting priorities and ensuring the effective execution of strategies and solutions across complex areas.
