Join our team at Wyong Hospital as a Patient Support Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring a clean and supportive environment for patients. Working within a collaborative team, you'll provide a range of services across clinical and non-clinical areas to support the patient journey.
The role of Patient Support Assistant is varied and includes many different tasks and activities from delivering high-quality cleaning services in clinical and non-clinical settings, assisting clinical staff with various patient care tasks such as mobilisation, transporting patients for healthcare services, and providing positive customer interactions with patients, staff members, members of the public, and service providers.
About You
- You have good written and verbal communication skills
- You have excellent customer service skills and positively interact with a diverse range of people
- You can follow a documented process and complete set tasks as required.
- You can work independently and can prioritise your workflow effectively.
Where You'll be Working
The role will be based at Environmental Services, Wyong Hospital. You may occasionally be requested to work at other sites within Central Coast Local Health District.
