Step into a pivotal leadership role as the Environmental Services Operational and Workforce Supervisor at Wyong Hospital, where your expertise in team coordination and workforce management will help keep our hospital running smoothly and efficiently every day.

The Environmental Services Operational and Workforce Supervisor plays a key leadership role in overseeing the domestic services workforce at Wyong Hospital.

This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations while providing guidance and support to staff across all aspects of workforce management, including recruitment, rostering, and the effective management of sick leave and other staffing matters. The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience in a similar supervisory position, with a strong understanding of workforce planning, team coordination, and the ability to lead a high-performing team within the hospital

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday (no weekends), with training provided. You’ll be joining a supportive and dedicated team that takes pride in delivering high-quality service and is committed to the success of Wyong Hospital

About You

  • Relevant qualifications and/or demonstrated experience supervising a large clinical support team in a health-care environment.
  • Proven experience in workforce supervision, ideally within healthcare, hospitality, or a related field
  • Demonstrated experience of current industry standards, compliance and risks relating to Environmental Services.
  • Ability to implement performance management processes in a fair and supportive way
  • A commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated experience to instruct PSA & Cleaners on environmental operational tasks and demands.
  • Current Unrestricted  NSW Driver's licence.
