  1. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia approved qualification for administration of medication (including intravenous medication administration), including an Advanced Certificate qualification and a minimum of six years full time equivalent post enrolment experience.
  2. Nursing knowledge and three years full time equivalent experience relevant to Infection Prevention and Control and “5 moments for Hand Hygiene”.
  3. Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  4. Successfully completed recent hand hygiene E-learning education and current Hand Hygiene Australia Hand Hygiene Auditor.
  5. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload.
  6. Experience in performing or involved in Quality activities including the review and auditing of projects.
  7. Current NSW Driving Licence.
  8. Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute.
