Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is looking for a skilled and motivated Social Worker Level 3 to join our Multi Agency Response Centre (CCMARC) team in a permanent part-time role.
About the Role
The Social Worker within the Central Coast Multidisciplinary Abuse and Risk Committee (CCMARC) brings advanced clinical expertise to assess and provide advice on the release of health information. You will play an integral role in joint assessments and collaborative planning as part of multi-agency responses to concerns around child wellbeing and protection.
In this role, you will act as a key advocate for contextualising health information and services within the child protection framework, supporting agency partners to make informed decisions. You will work in close partnership with government and non-government organisations to promote timely, coordinated, and evidence-based responses to complex situations.
As a strong proponent of effective health system engagement, you will help navigate care pathways and coordinate information sharing within the health service to ensure appropriate and responsive care for vulnerable children and families.
You will collaborate with your colleagues and leadership across CCMARC and broader health services to support recovery-focused, trauma-informed, and integrated care that is both holistic and seamless.
Ongoing targeted training and development will be provided to support innovation, culturally safe practice, and evidence-based interventions aligned with the NSW Health Prevention and Response to Violence, Abuse and Neglect (PARVAN) Framework, service standards, and relevant policies and procedures.
This is a part-time position with weekday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM – no weekend work required.
