We have an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse to work on a permanent Full Time or Part time position in our Central Coast Cancer Services. You work within a dedicated multi-disciplinary team environment aiming to improve the patient journey through the provision of comprehensive nursing care to patients with Haematological and Oncological malignancies.

The Service delivers Inpatient anti-cancer therapy and radiation therapy for the treatment of Oncology and Haematological malignancies as well as providing the supportive and emotional care required by this patient group.  

You will be working in K8 Oncology / Haematology - Gosford Hospital.


About You
 

  • You have demonstrated experience in oncology/haematology/radiation oncology nursing and/or willing to undertake education/training.
  •  You have demonstrated experience in chemotherapy administration and/or the care of a patient undergoing Radiotherapy treatment. 
  • You have fantastic communication skills including verbal, written and interpersonal skills and can liaise effectively with a variety of stakeholders. 
  • You have current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
