Support Clients to Live Well in Their Community – Join a Collaborative Allied Health Team
Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our Community Allied Health (CAH) team. This role is ideal for a clinician who is passionate about enabling independence, function, and quality of life through high-quality, community-based care.
About the Role
As an Occupational Therapist within CAH, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing services to a broad and diverse client group. This includes individuals with neurological conditions, age-related functional decline, progressive diseases, and chronic illnesses such as diabetes, respiratory and cardiac conditions, and heart failure.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to care provided by specialist teams, such as the Specialist Palliative Care Service, delivering assessments and interventions in a variety of settings including clients’ homes, community centres, and residential aged care facilities.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to each client’s functional goals and needs.

Provide services through home visits, community centres, and aged care facilities.

Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and group education programs.

Support clients in achieving optimal independence, safety, and quality of life in their home and community environments.

Collaborate with other occupational therapists to ensure timely and coordinated service delivery across CCLHD.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with health service policies and professional standards.

- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in a relevant setting, preferably community or aged care.
- Current NSW driver's licence
