  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  2. Must have worked a minimum of 12 months or more within an Emergency Department as a Trainee, CMO or SRMO in the Australian Health Care System or equivalent.
  3. Must have experience in resuscitation and acute management of critically ill adults and children and experience in the assessment and management of low acuity adult and paediatric patients and the ability to independently manage their care from presentation to disposition I a short time frame.
  4. Demonstrated effective communication skills, clinical skills, judgement and expertise, teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in a clinical setting. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Must demonstrate experience in supervising junior doctors.
  5. Evidence of continued professional development and commitment to self-education, experience and willingness to teach junior medical staff.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management.
  7. Must be willing to participate in a rotating roster of days, evenings, nights and weekends.
  8. Demonstrated commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals and strategies, with demonstrated behaviours which align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and behaviours charter.
