About the Role
Family care cottages offer a range of services for complex problems of infancy and childhood requiring an extended or day stay appointment. These services support families with children aged 0 to 5 years needing extra support and advice about:
- Sleep and settling
- Breastfeeding
- Child behaviour problems
- Parenting concerns
- Feeding and weaning difficulties
- Stress and anxiety
- Postnatal distress/depression
This Service works in partnership with specialised programs to support vulnerable families across the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD)

About You
- Demonstrated ability to meet the essential criteria as outlined in the Position Description. Please detail and upload a copy of any relevant Qualifications, Registrations or Licences required for the role.
- Demonstrated experience working with parents/carers/families with children aged 0 to 5 years, including parents/carers/families with psycho-social vulnerabilities.
- Ability to identify, address and respond appropriately to safety concerns for infants and children, with demonstrated experience in consulting and responding to instances where an infant or child is at risk of significant harm (ROSH).
- Provide service delivery in Child and Family Health Care cottages located at Wyong and Gosford
