What you'll be doing
To provide a professional clinical service as a Social Worker, Psychologist, Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist to young people and their families.
To provide individual therapy to young people.
To ensure families and carers have input into assessments, care plans and reviews where appropriate.
To liaise with relevant agencies and actively participate in case conferences and team meetings concerning the care of young people and support families.
To consult with team members and staff from other agencies regarding care and management of clients.
The position sits within the Youth Mental Health stream of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). The service provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged 12-24 years experiencing moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders.
Clinical interventions incorporate evidence based practice with a focus on early intervention, recovery and family engagement and support.

  • Health and Community Employees Psychologists (State) Award - Psychologist

  • Occupational Therapist, Counselling and Welfare lever 1/2
  • Public Health System Nurses and Midwives (State) Award - Registered Nurse
