The Bureau of Health Information (BHI) is a board-governed organisation that provides independent reports on the performance of the NSW public healthcare system. Our vision is that BHI is a trusted provider of health performance information, which is used to inform action, and that patients’ experiences and outcomes continue to improve.

 

BHI's primary purpose is to provide the community, healthcare professionals and policy makers with information that enhances transparency of the performance of the healthcare system in NSW, in order to inform actions to improve healthcare and strengthen accountability.

What you'll be doing – Project Officer, Strategy and Engagement


The Project Officer, Strategy and Engagement coordinates and supports stakeholder engagement processes, undertakes research, horizon scanning and other support for strategy development and organisational learning.

Remuneration: $97,812 - $116,013 per annum plus super

Location: Currently based in Chatswood and moving to St. Leonards’ in 2020
Hours Per Week: 38

Selection Criteria

 

  1. Demonstrated understanding of health system performance measurement and reporting.
  2. Demonstrated experience of researching, synthesising, interpreting, communicating and presenting complex information to support strategy and/or policy development and decision-making, ideally in healthcare.
  3. Project management expertise, including working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  4. Experience of managing effective stakeholder engagement and consultation.
  5. Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, consultation and presentation skills.
  6. Proven strengths as a team player.
  7. Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent relevant experience.
