Director, Data Management and Analyses

1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent; and extensive experience and record of achievement in managing health system performance data and development and validation of health system performance measures
2. Demonstrated experience and expertise in developing, validating and reporting health system performance measures in ways that align with best practice in NSW and/or other jurisdictions
3. Superior conceptual and analytical skills including experience in critical analysis and interpretation of performance data, preparing and presenting analysis and reports rapidly and accurately to a variety of audiences, and subject to media and public scrutiny.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills including experience developing the capability of a team, establishing, monitoring and ensuring achievement of clear performance objectives, coaching and advising staff, and fostering a collegial, professional work environment
5. Demonstrated superior stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills including extensive experience leading, persuading, motivating and negotiating at senior levels; actively developing strategic partnerships; and engaging and influencing key stakeholders to adopt and implement methodology and initiatives.
6. Demonstrated working knowledge of applicable laws and ethical practices necessary to ensure the integrity of reports and protection of privacy and personal information.
7. Superior interpersonal and communication skills including proven ability to deal with people at all levels from a wide-range of professional backgrounds to achieve optimal business outcomes.
