Selection criteria  
  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and recent extensive experience in a senior trauma or critical care role.

  2. Demonstrated experience to lead, with attention to detail, all phases of project management from design to implementation and evaluation. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working with trauma clinicians, trauma policies and trauma system frameworks.

  3. High level system wide knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of the NSW trauma system to improve health outcomes.

  4. Demonstrated experience with planning, coordination and delivery of adult education in the context of trauma.  

  5. Highly developed ability to work within and support multidisciplinary teams, together with a proven capacity to communicate and negotiate change and improvement initiatives with senior clinicians and executives.

  6. Demonstrated ability to interpret and utilise complex information rapidly and accurately as well as an advanced understanding of data quality and the ability to use data in problem resolution.

  7. Demonstrated excellent oral and interpersonal skills and strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare, review and edit correspondence, briefings, reports, papers and proposals in a manner understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.

  8. Excellent skills in use of commonly used software including Microsoft Office, project management software and other relevant data collection software.
