Patient Partner

1. Lived experience as a patient or caregiver interacting with health care providers and the health system and extensive experience as a patient/family partner, engaged at the direct level of care with providers, as well as within healthcare governance at local and state/national levels.

2. A tertiary qualification in a relevant health, public policy, communications, or engagement area is desirable.

3. Demonstrated experience in a range of project management tools and approaches with an ability to initiate and lead projects, produce detailed project plans, monitor performance against objectives, manage project risks and ensuring deliverables are met.

4. Self-management: invites feedback on own behaviour and impact; uses new knowledge or information about self to build a broader understanding of own behaviour and the impact it has on others; understands strong emotional reactions and seeks ways to more effectively manage them.
