    1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated health management / business experience. This includes strong knowledge and practical experience in working with trauma clinicians, trauma policies and trauma system frameworks.
    2. Demonstrated project management skills in all phases from design to implementation and evaluation.
    3. Demonstrated high level of knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of the NSW trauma system to improve health outcomes.
    4. Demonstrated organisational, analytical and conceptual skills, including the ability to assess implications of changes to strategic directions and successfully implement strategies to accommodate these.
    5. Demonstrated capacity to engender enthusiasm, work co-operatively and effectively with managers and clinicians and lead and support small teams.
    6. Demonstrated financial management ability including budget setting, expenditure monitoring and business case development.
    7. Excellent written and oral communication skills including a demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with senior clinicians and healthcare managers.
    8. Demonstrated ability to make complex judgements, prioritise tasks and take initiatives through delegated responsibilities.
