Emergency Care Institute (ECI) Manager

1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and/or extensive experience in the health system with knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of the NSW Health system particularly in emergency care.
2. Fostering innovative and creative solutions to complex system wide challenges
3. Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams including motivating and developing staff to achieve business goals.
4. Experience in service redesign and project management and applying change management principles in a system with diverse stakeholders and interests.
5. Preparedness to participate in professional support opportunities such as clinical supervision or mentoring to maintain a sense of well-being and workplace engagement
6. Experience in policy and strategic planning processes at an organisation level.
7. Outstanding written communication skills including authorship of complex documents, briefings, correspondence and policy papers.
8. Highly developed verbal communication skills including influencing and negotiation skills across sector and agencies.
9. Demonstrated skills in critical analysis of data and complex information from a variety of sources utilised to present solutions at a systems level.
