- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant health discipline and/or extensive experience in the health system with knowledge of contemporary issues, challenges and directions of the NSW Health system particularly in emergency care.
- Fostering innovative and creative solutions to complex system wide challenges
- Extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams including motivating and developing staff to achieve business goals.
- Experience in service redesign and project management and applying change management principles in a system with diverse stakeholders and interests.
- Preparedness to participate in professional support opportunities such as clinical supervision or mentoring to maintain a sense of well-being and workplace engagement
- Experience in policy and strategic planning processes at an organisation level.
- Outstanding written communication skills including authorship of complex documents, briefings, correspondence and policy papers.
- Highly developed verbal communication skills including influencing and negotiation skills across sector and agencies.
- Demonstrated skills in critical analysis of data and complex information from a variety of sources utilised to present solutions at a systems level.
