  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience in clinical data management and statistical analysis.
  2. High level computer literacy including expert skills associated with developing and managing large databases and experience designing and maintaining multi-site projects using REDCap.
  3. Demonstrated high level skills to clean, structure and validate data, develop appropriate models using multiple data sources, program new statistical analyses using analytic programs such as SAS, R and SPSS.
  4. Proven ability to manage projects within a multidisciplinary team environment and implement local/regional projects, frameworks and/or initiatives with state wide application.
  5. Expert understanding of contemporary issues, challenges and directions facing the NSW Health and the national context and broad knowledge and understanding of policy issues related to trauma pain and specialised brain injury rehabilitation.
  6. Demonstrated ability to interact and work effectively with clinicians and senior management to provide analyses that will assist in informing decisions regarding service quality, evaluation and new approaches to health service delivery.
  7. High level verbal and written communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills, and demonstrated ability to present information to all levels of stakeholders including Ministry of Health.
