Selection Criteria

  1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
  2. Evidence of general registration and 24 months of clinical experience OR hold an Overseas Trained Specialist determination issued by the RCPA.
  3. Evidence of satisfactory acquisition of skills and competencies as specified in the Anatomical Pathology curriculum of the RCPA.
  4. Evidence of progress up to at least the third year of Anatomical Pathology training, including supervisor's reports, success in exams, satisfactory progress in procedural or completion of research.
  5. Evidence of participation in quality improvement initiatives relevant to Anatomical Pathology.
  6. Evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team environment, including improvement in patient care and an understanding of the NSW Health Code of Conduct.
  7. Demonstrated experience or vocational interest in the Paediatric Anatomical Pathology sub-specialty.
