Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia in an appropriate registration category.
- Evidence of working in a multidisciplinary team environment, including improvement in patient care and an understanding of he NSW Health Code of Conduct.
- For applicants who have commenced laboratory training under the RCPA, documentary evidence of satisfactory progress in Microbiology training, including supervisor’s reports, success in exams and satisfactory progress in the directly observed procedural skills portfolio.
- For applicants who have commenced laboratory training under the RCPA, evidence of satisfactory participation in quality improvement initiatives relevant to Microbiology.
- For applicants who have commenced laboratory training under the RCPA, evidence of satisfactory acquisition of skills and competencies as specified in the curriculum of the RCPA.
- For applicants for whom 2022 would be your first year of laboratory training under the RCPA, evidence of vocational interest in Microbiology (e.g. employment, previous training or research in Microbiology or related field).
