- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- Experience in medical research with previous publications is desirable.
- Experience in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Organisational ability, both personal organisation and ability to supervise others.
- Initiative in self-directed learning.
- Relevant Fellowship qualification is desirable - or may need to sit for a final exam at the end of training to attain Fellowship.
