Provisional Fellow

1. MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia
2. Completion of minimum of 4 years clinical experience in an accredited training position in Anaesthesia recognised by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and successful completion of all elements of Advanced Training.
3. Desirable, completion of the Final Fellowship examination of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (we may consider Provisional Fellows who have completed all other aspects of Advanced Training who are planning to sit the exam in the Provisional Fellow year)
4. Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal, appropriate for an anaesthetist
5. Demonstrated ability to function harmoniously, efficiently and effectively as part of high-performing team.
6. Demonstrated capacity to work independently, and exercise initiative and judgment in prioritising time and resources
7. Demonstrated commitment to scholarship, including learning and teaching, and an understanding of the role of the clinical review process, audit and research in anaesthesia
8. An interest in a specific area of the specialty for further development.
