How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Minimum 7 years O&G Trainee experience and independently able to manage common acute and emergency O&G presentations.
- Proficiency with operative deliveries, including vacuum, forceps and Caesarean section deliveries.
- Competency with interpretation of electronic fetal heart rate monitoring patterns, at preterm and term gestation, in the antenatal and intrapartum period.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development - FONT training, FSEP, ALSO, PROMPT
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including relevant computer skills;
- Current Medical Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), or eligible for same
- Demonstrated commitment to O&G education, experience conducting literature reviews and developing O&G departmental policies
- Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and visiting practitioners in a multidisciplinary health care team, within the hospital and SWSLHD network.
