How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Minimum 7 years O&G Trainee experience and independently able to manage common acute and emergency O&G presentations.
  2. Proficiency with operative deliveries, including vacuum, forceps and Caesarean section deliveries.
  3. Competency with interpretation of electronic fetal heart rate monitoring patterns, at preterm and term gestation, in the antenatal and intrapartum period.
  4. Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development - FONT training, FSEP, ALSO, PROMPT
  5. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) including relevant computer skills;
  6. Current Medical Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA), or eligible for same
  7. Demonstrated commitment to O&G education, experience conducting literature reviews and developing O&G departmental policies
  8. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and visiting practitioners in a multidisciplinary health care team, within the hospital and SWSLHD network.
